Cole Cameron has long
been immersed in the
cowboy and western way of
life. Raised in Texas and
son to World Champion and
Hall of Fame cowboy Craig
Cameron, Cole has spent
his life working on family
ranches between Texas,
New Mexico and Arizona.
Cole excelled as a top
student and a highly-gifted
3-sport athlete in High school. His dedication earned him
a scholarship to play college football at Texas A&M
University. Upon graduating with his bachelors in
Agriculture, Cole stayed in College Station and continued
on to pursue a Masters in this field. While in graduate
school, Cole solidified a spot on the rodeo team. During
his graduate studies, he made two appearances at the
College National Rodeo Finals in Casper, Wyoming.
After receiving his Masters of Agriculture, Cole continued
to follow his rodeo dream on the pro circuit. In 2011, he
won the Cowboys Professional Rodeo Association in
Steer Wrestling. Still actively competing, teaching
horsemanship clinics, and starting colts for clients, Cole
currently lives and works at the family Double Horn
Ranch in Bluff Dale, Texas.
Cole has been privileged to work with some of the top
horse trainers over the years as well as competing in
multiple disciplines including, cutting, team roping,
working cowhorse, and extreme cowboy racing. He is a
five time EXCA World Champion as well as a Road to the
Horse Wild Card Champion. His 2022 EXCA World
Championship title earned him an invitation to compete
at the 2023 Cowboy Up Challenge at the Calgary
Stampede.
Cole continues to be a lifetime student of the horse and
travels extensively across the globe teaching clinics
while also staying competitive in the show arena.
Following in his father’s footsteps, he continues helping
people worldwide to develop great horses and
horsemanship all while keeping the western and cowboy
way of life alive and well.
